The New Big Bang Experiment


​​xAI has launched two versions of its latest model, namely Grok 4 and Grok 4 Heavy. According to Artificial Analysis, Grok-4 is now the leading AI model. “We have run our full suite of benchmarks, and Grok-4 achieves an Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index of 73, ahead of OpenAI o3 at 70, Google Gemini 2.5 Pro at 70, Anthropic Claude 4 Opus at 64, and DeepSeek R1 0528 at 68.”


Elon Musk : “I think AI will be good for humanity. If it’s not going to be good at least I would like to be alive to see it happen”.


His team of engineers laughed.


Simply put, it feels like technologists have created a car that can go as fast as 5,000 KM/H, but can also decide on its own to go even faster to reach insane speed. It’s so intelligent that technologists believe it will run smoothly and avoid crashes.


What humans are not good at is understanding the unforeseen consequences of complex actions -> reactions -> tail risks.


It feels to me that the occurrence of tail risks from AI may just go through the roof in the next decades!
